We all feel it, time going way faster as we age. Don't think I have ever read why we all experience it.
We finally re-carpeted the bedroom this year. We still have the living room and hallway to do. Maybe this next year. Like most things today, the cost can be prohibitive. In the carpet industry they have tried to make you feel good about purchasing your carpet by making the cost by the square foot.
This past year we sold our Mazda Miata and the Chevy Blazer. Age was taking its toll on them, and the monthly cost kept rising in repairs. So we now having a Chrysler 200, and a Jeep Wrangler. Both purchased new, and we hope they serve us well from here on out.
The dogs are still with us, they too are getting older. This last summer Sam tore the ACL in his left hind leg. Not a cheap repair! He is doing the best he can walking. Has good days and bad.
We both will be on Medicare this coming year, hope we don't have to use it! Everyday seems there is a pain somewhere on our bodies...........aging is not fun.
