The heat wave really hit this weekend, close to 97 degrees both days.
Saturday we spent the morning doing a bit of yard work before the heat got to high for us. Kaths garden continues to bring color to the yard as you can see.
Our plan was to spend the afternoon on the lake, but we decided to hold off till around 6pm, then stay out later. The last taxi ride in the marina is about 9:30pm. That is the unfortunate thing about the high water, you have to be back in, or stay out all night.
After last night , we are discussing staying out all night. The temps would be down, and the dogs would be just fine out there with us. on a moonlit night, it would be a beautiful thing to see. So we are doing some serious thinking about that.
As you can see, the water was like a mirror, and it was really a comfortable temperature out there. So all in all, a really nice weekend, now back to the real world.
