This being our second full summer here in Northern Arkansas, we saw record temperatures, 114 degrees was the official temp in the first week of August. What a miserable day that was in combination with our normal humidity levels.
This last week, we still had 2 days that the thermometers hit 100+. But this weekend was fantastic out. The high was 79 degrees yesterday, and as I am writing this on Monday morning it is 60 degrees at 8am. What a difference a few days can make!
Being Labor Day weekend, and our completion of 2 full years here, We thought the most relaxing thing we could do, was to go for a nice ride on the lake late yesterday afternoon. We went south a few miles, had a bite to eat as did the dogs. Just a nice weekend to be outside
