Fall has arrived here in the Ozarks, nice cool nights, pleasant daytime temperatures. We have even had some much needed rain show up the weekend John came down to do some fishing. It seems whenever he takes trips on his motorcycle, he has rain follow him.
We managed to get in some river fishing, and until the rain and lightning came in, we did pretty good. John caught the most fish, an average of 12 to 13 inch Rainbows. I caught my first good size Brown Trout, measured 17.5 inches so that made my day! John was pretty sure the count was a total of 15 for the day. So all in all we had a fun day together.
If we only could have taken time out from things as we aged to have times like this. We are older now, and we realize these days are numbered.
