A busy two weeks we have had with folks visiting us. Seeing family is so much fun. We always hate to see them go back to Nebraska. Hopefully they all had a good time. This time of the year, with the heat and humidity so high. You stay in, or go find "water"!!
Tracy, Scott, Alexandria and Jacob were here for almost 4 days and it was a fantastic visit and great fun on the lake. We were lucky to have nice weather the entire time. We grilled out after fun in the water and on Sunday they treated us to brunch at Gastons.......I really enjoy that and always eat way to much!! The 4 days gave us time to have nice conversations, and reminisce to days gone by.
Then John stopped by for a two night stay. He was on a motorcycle trip touring many National Parks in the eastern parts of the country. The farthest he went was to the end of the road in Maine, where it is stated to be the farthest road north on the east coast. He was just short of 6000 miles when he got here after 20 days on the bike. So we wanted him to take a break and stay which he was ready for as it turned out. Kath was off that day, so they did some errands, and when I woke up in the afternoon we headed out to the marina for a trip to a cove to enjoy the water.
This weekend Rob is bringing the kids down for a week stay. Kath has taken the week off, so we will I am sure enjoy their stay.Then the last weekend Jen is planning on coming down with the kids. So this month of July is busy for us, and we are enjoying every minute of it!
